When opening the rolls, never use a sharp
instrument to cut off the paper wrapping.
Use a special Henco pipe-cutter to cut the Henco sandwichpipe.
For all diameters the use of the pipe cutter RS32 (or RS63) is
recommended so that you always cut the pipe square (90°).
Calibrate the pipe with the Henco kalispeed.
Slide the calibrator right into the pipe and then
rotate it so that the cutter forms a cone in the
end of the pipe. The cone should just be visible to
ensure that the pipe is correctly centered.
Slide the pipe right down into the compression
fitting, until the pipe is visible through the
transparent ring.
Open the compression jaw and set it round the fitting so that the ring of stainless steel serves as a guide and sits in the jaw. To ensure correct compression, close the jaw fully with the compression clamp.
After the compression, open the compression jaws and check whether the pipe is still correctly mounted.

To mount the coupling : put the nut over the pipe, slide the compression ring over the pipe,
Push the adapter into the pipe up to the bumper. Take care not to damage the o-ring. The adapter in brass has to have a Teflon ring or extra O-ring to prevent electrolysis. To help it slide, grease the nut with silicone oil. Do not use mineral oil.
