Current Vacancy - Sales Order Processor

  • Contract Type: Full time (Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm) or Part Time (Mon – Fri 9:30 – 3pm), Permanent, Office Based

To continue operating at our high standards, we’re seeking an experienced Sales Order Processor to join us. If you’re looking for a role that fits around your life this could be it!

This permanent position is well suited to a methodical individual with a high level of accuracy looking for a new challenge. You’ll need to be an independent thinker and able to proactively solve problems to ensure you make the role your own. The Sales Order Processor will need to be comfortable using multiple systems. Full training will be given so it’s essential that you’re happy to learn new skills.

The Sales Order Processor will actively communicate with customers to ensure accurate processing of orders and advise delivery schedules.

Sales Order Processor Job Duties:

· Order Processing & Customer Care

o Customer centric desire to deliver excellent service –liaise with customers on daily basis & continue the excellent customer service delivered by sales team

o Taking customer orders by phone, email & web

o Accurately processing customer sales orders and creating picking lists/dispatch notes, and action any stock shortfalls on customer orders

o Price checking, resolving invoice queries

o Communicate any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties

o Provide customer product support

o Demanding excellence from our supply chain and carriers

o Checking Pallex, DPD courier outbound deliveries daily

o Administration of EU shipments via import agent

o Arranging 3rd party logistics/shipments from Belgium for pre-insulated pipes

· Supporting the sales team in the production of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reporting

o Processing daily numbers + daily invoices

o Populating all daily dispatch on dispatch log

o Updating and cascading end of day KPI report

Sales Order Processor Qualifications:

Highly Organised; Understanding of Stock Management Systems; Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively; Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written and Verbal; Ability to Work in a Team Environment; Strong Attention to Detail; High levels of honesty, integrity and professionalism; Positive attitude; Confident, resourceful and self-motivated; Analytical and reasoning abilities.

Current Vacancy - Apprenticeship: Junior Content Creator

As the Multipipe marketing apprentice, you will learn how to deliver on & offline marketing campaigns to our existing and target customers.

This role will be expected to complete further training with The Lightbulb relating to the creation of marketing content. The course will also help develop transferable communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, quickly building the confidence to work successfully with external and internal customers.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to help them deliver industry-leading content in an end user-friendly way. You will be encouraged to keep up to date with the latest marketing, analytics and SEO updates to help broaden your knowledge.

As you expand your knowledge we’ll encourage you to get involved with producing content and reports for customer campaigns across multiple platforms, including, but not limited to, Social Ads, Google Ads and Mailchimp. As you grow your knowledge with all these platforms and business areas, there will be opportunities to shape our strategy and optimise our customer campaigns.

About you

Do you have a Customer Service, Sales, Account Management or similar background? Are you looking to develop your skills and career in a sales account handler role?
In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting architect plans to generate quotes and offer system advice to key accounts. In addition, the team will provide full training on the in-house software for an enthusiastic candidate who is looking to develop their career.
This role would ideally suit an individual with experience in underfloor heating systems or from a trade counter/merchant background looking to develop their career in a new direction.
The Role:

  • Convert new leads into loyal customers to meet revenue targets
  • Use architect drawings as the basis to form customer quotes
  • Provide advice on product and system use and benefits

The Person:

  • Internal Sales, Account Management Customer Service, Trade Counter, or Similar Background
  • Must have good telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to multitask
  • Work well as part of a small team and independently
  • A positive, proactive and can-do attitude
  • Key requirements (qualifications and skills)
    • Essential
      • Underfloor heating system knowledge
      • 2+ years in a sales or similar role
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
      • Professional, yet friendly & confident telephone manner
      • Must work well as part of a small team
      • A positive, proactive and can-do attitude
      • High skill levels of listening, communication and persuasion
      • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
    • Desirable
      • Knowledge of the plumbing industry is advantageous but not essential
      • Proficient in all other Microsoft programmes
      • Knowledge of quote generation software
