Current Vacancy - Sales Account Executive

  • Contract Type: Full time (Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm), Permanent, Office Based


Do you have a Customer Service, Sales, Account Management or similar background? Are you looking to develop your skills and career in a sales account handler role?
In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting architect plans to generate quotes and offer system advice to key accounts. In addition, the team will provide full training on the in-house software for an enthusiastic candidate who is looking to develop their career.
This role would ideally suit an individual with experience in underfloor heating systems or from a trade counter/merchant background looking to develop their career in a new direction.
The Role:

  • Convert new leads into loyal customers to meet revenue targets
  • Use architect drawings as the basis to form customer quotes
  • Provide advice on product and system use and benefits

The Person:

  • Internal Sales, Account Management Customer Service, Trade Counter, or Similar Background
  • Must have good telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to multitask
  • Work well as part of a small team and independently
  • A positive, proactive and can-do attitude
  • Key requirements (qualifications and skills)
    • Essential
      • Underfloor heating system knowledge
      • 2+ years in a sales or similar role
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
      • Professional, yet friendly & confident telephone manner
      • Must work well as part of a small team
      • A positive, proactive and can-do attitude
      • High skill levels of listening, communication and persuasion
      • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
    • Desirable
      • Knowledge of the plumbing industry is advantageous but not essential
      • Proficient in all other Microsoft programmes
      • Knowledge of quote generation software
