PE-RT pipe is widely used in wet underfloor heating systems because it is flexible, easy to route and suitable for forming long continuous heating circuits. Supplied in coils, it can be laid across screed, overlay or other compatible floor systems with minimal joints beneath the finished floor.
The correct pipe diameter, wall thickness and coil length depend on system design, circuit length and required heat output. Pipe spacing and flow temperature should be calculated rather than chosen solely by room size.
During installation, observe the minimum bend radius, protect the pipe from damage and secure it using the specified fixing method. Each circuit should be pressure tested before the floor covering or screed is completed.
