Multipipe Overlay Underfloor Heating

Our overlay underfloor heating systems are designed to be low-profile and installed directly onto your existing floor, making them a great option for renovations and refurbishments.
This eliminates the need for costly and time-consuming floor excavation, and valuable floor height.

Altis Flow

A low-profile flowing screed system of 18mm, using 12mm pipe in a castellated panel. This fast & easy to install system can be directly tiled on and is quick to react offering a high heat output.

Altis Dry

A Gypsum based board routed with 12mm grooves. Suitable for direct tiling or application of a levelling compound giving high outputs. With no need for wet screed, your project can be completed quicker.

Fortis Pro

A premium grade EPS board with an impressive 400 kPa compressive strength. This dense polystyrene board can have floor coverings directly laid on top, including tiles and wood. Finished with a 200-micron thick foil, this helps spread the heat out and being foil helps to make cutting the boards easier.

Fortis Lite

Specification as per Fortis Pro but for use with 12mm MLCP and an unbonded system weight of 1.8kg/m2.

These systems give you the best possible output, proving more cost-effective and more efficient.

Altis Resimat 5

Resimat

Altis Resimat 5 is a thin and robust resilient layer, primarily used in under screed applications to isolate the screed from the sub-floor and flanking walls acoustically.

Solid Screed

Solid Screed UFH systems are the most common type of UFH system. Pipework is directly stapled to the insulation board of the main construction. Then a 4:1 sand cement screed (typically) is added but specialist screeds can be used to lower the construction height. All insulation should be fitted in line with part L of the building regulations or at least to BS EN 1264 standard of 1.25m² kW.

Multipipe Suspended Floor Systems

Our suspended underfloor heating systems are designed for use in properties which feature joists, whether that’s in a basement, ground floor or upper floors. This system benefits from not requiring a screed or damp-proof membrane.

Fortis Timber

For the easy installation of a wet UFH system on any type of timber suspended structure. Quick & easy to install with no extra adhesive substances needed.

Heat Plate

Heat plate is a pre-grooved aluminium spreader plate designed for timber suspended floor to make for a cost-effective method of installing pipe in a timber floor. Thanks to its embedded profile, floor heights are not raised and a typical structural floor can be used on top.

Underfloor heating works with multi-layered composite pipe (MLCP) by circulating hot water through the pipes embedded within the floor structure. Here’s a breakdown of the process:

The System:

  • Heat Source: A boiler, heat pump, or another heating source generates hot water.
  • Manifold: This central hub distributes hot water to individual heating circuits.
  • MLCP Pipe: The hot water travels through the MLCP pipes laid out in a specific pattern beneath the floor.
  • Heat Transfer: The pipes transfer heat to the surrounding floor material (concrete, screed etc.) which then radiates warmth upwards into the room.
  • Thermostat Control: A thermostat regulates the water temperature and ensures the desired room temperature is maintained.

We hope you never have to return an item, but we know that occasionally, there are circumstances when the purchased product needs to be returned.

The following items are excluded from return:

  • Pre-insulated pipe
  • Tools
  • Used goods
  • Special order items
  • Fittings not in their original and sealed bag quantity packaging

Return of non-faulty goods

The customer can return the order within 14 days of the purchase date.

For all non-faulty goods returns, the item must be in original packaging and in un-installed / unused & resalable condition. Items delivered in sealed bags or boxes must be returned unopened and in the original bag. Where it is not possible to package in the original packaging, then the item will need to be packaged suitably for the courier before collection. Please log in to your account and create a returns request. Please post your item back to the address on the returns note, making sure the item is packaged correctly and is sent back in a way that is covered by insurance as any lost parcels will result in your order not being able to be refunded.

Return of Faulty / Damaged Goods on Delivery

Should you, in the very rare case, receive a damaged item, please contact our customer service department to discuss the fault and arrange collection. Due to the courier’s procedure, no claims can be made unless reported within 24 hours of delivery.
