When correctly combined with thermal insulation upstands, our Perimeter Expansion Strip allows for the thermal expansion and contraction of your heated floor. Our polythene expansion strip is essential for optimising the performance of your underfloor heating system while protecting your floor from damage. All our expansion strips include a polyethene apron; this helps to ensure that when using a flow screed, you get a tight seal to the insulation board to stop the screed from flowing down the side of the board.
