Advancing Expertise with a Higher National Certificate (HNC)

Joe is currently undertaking a two-year HNC in Building Services Engineering Apprenticeship Course. This comprehensive programme is equipping Joe with deep, technical knowledge vital to our design work, including:

• Understanding Hot and Cold Water Distribution: This learning directly supports his ability to conceptualise and execute efficient system designs.
• Ventilation and MVHR: Covering essential modern building services, ensuring a holistic understanding of system integration.

Applying Knowledge to Real-World Design

Joe is immediately applying this advanced knowledge in his day-to-day duties at Multipipe, where he plays a crucial role in delivering excellent service and cutting-edge designs:

• Client Collaboration: Discussing projects and potential design solutions with clients.
• System Design: Designing highly efficient heating and domestic distribution layouts for various projects.
• Design Management: Amending designs based on client feedback and project needs.
• Project Preparation: Handling plumbing take-offs and generating quotes for design and Underfloor Heating (UFH) systems.

Engaging with the Industry and Future Talent

Joe’s commitment extends beyond the office and classroom. He actively represents Multipipe, strengthening our industry presence and helping to mentor the next generation:

• Industry Events: He attends the many industry exhibitions we participate in each year, meeting customers face-to-face and building essential relationships.
• College Visits: Joe is instrumental in our regular College Visits, where we share our expertise with plumbing and heating engineering students, providing them with hands-on experience using our MLCP pipes and fittings.
